Makan brings authentic Malayasian to Portobello. They have been providing fresh, quality food for eight years now and have a large, loyal customer base in love with their Malaysian cuisine.

Just the smell of this small restaurant will make your mouth water; the mixture of spices, Chinese Thai and Indian cuisine which make up the delicious Malaysian dishes created by the family chef will have you always returning for more.

Makan combines affordable, large portions with quality ingredients. Hairani caters to everyone. She is passionate about food and is always tailoring her dishes to customers' needs. She is not scared about mixing different ingredients, so if you have a unique idea for a dish, she will kindly make it up for you!
