About Us

Peter Tindall and Mark Tremlett wanted their babies and children to sleep safely and comfortably in the best, most natural environment, so they started Naturalmat.

Using the best raw ingredients, they created a range of hand-crafted baby mattresses that are superbly comfortable, breathable, washable, non-allergenic and a delight to use - ensuring the best possible night's sleep for baby and parent.

Naturalmat's products are true to the values which many other parents believe in: use of natural and organic materials and care for the environment. They also sell bedding, blankets and fleeces (cotton, lambswool and cashmere), nursery furniture, sleeping bags, clothing and accessories.

Their beautiful handmade Willow Crib is made entirely from renewable willow crops, using traditional basket weaving skills.
