About Us

This is a Notting Hill institution where music producers and music lovers often visit. For more than twenty years, this legendary shop has offered a huge range of vinyl and CDs from around the world, with a common theme: a celebration of Jamaican music and culture.

Daddy VGO, founder of the shop in All Saint Road, has championed Jamaican music in all its forms like Ska, Rock Steady, Reggae, Dub, Lovers Rock, Roots, Ragga, Jungle, Soca, R&B, Jazz, Blues Soul and Dancehall.

During the Notting Hill Carnival the 'Original Peoples Sound' sound system is set up directly outside the record shop. Trust them for the atmosphere!
