About Us

Tribal Gathering London is a gallery specializing in fine quality African tribal art and adornment, situated in a small mews off Westbourne Grove. All their pieces are traditional and authentic, mostly pre-1940's. Run by Bill Simmons and Bryan Reeves, their aim is to show the beauty, power and form in African Tribal Art. Bryan has for over 20 years travelled extensively throughout the region. His passion for travel and African Tribal Art combined has resulted in him being able to find pieces that in many cases have never been exposed to the Western world before.

Age, authenticity, quality and patina closely define the choice of pieces. The pieces predominantly come from the East African Great Lakes Region, but expand to cover other regions of Africa. This beautiful, richly cultured part of Africa has for many years held a great personal attachment. This attachment has given a privileged access to many undiscovered tribes, their tribal art and adornment.
